These cold-condition gloves are impact-resistant, have a silicone tread synthetic leather palm, and are insulated to keep hands warm. Synthetic leather is a durable, abrasion-resistant fabric that is lighter and easier to clean than leather. The silicone-tread coating provides a secure, slip-resistant grip. Tread patterns are made of small lines going different directions to provide added grip that holds up better than dots. Unrated impact-resistant gloves have protection on the knuckle side of the hand to protect hands from injuries caused by incidental impact caused by working in tight spaces or falling items and are not tested to ANSI/ISEA or CE standards. Cold-condition insulated gloves are worn when handling cold items (such as packaged frozen food) and when working in cold environments. Mechanics-style gloves have good dexterity and are often worn when performing basic tasks in general maintenance and repair operations.
